Intelligent Construction Steel Leads the Future丨New Construction Engineering Company successfully Co-organized The 3rd Greater Bay Area Steel Structure Intelligent Construction Exchange Conference

2024 The 3rd Greater Bay Area Steel Structure Intelligent Construction and Building Industrialization Technology Exchange Conference was held in Guangzhou during May 10-12th whose theme is "Intelligent Construction, Steel Leads the Future." The meeting was organized by Guangdong Provincial Society of Steel Construction, Hong Kong Construction Metal Structure Association, Macau Construction Industry Association and other units, and co-organized with China Construction Eighth Bureau New Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, Li Song, chief engineer of the new construction company South China Branch, made a report on "Comprehensive Technology Research and Application of Ultra-High-rise Intelligent Construction of All-steel Structure Offset Cylinder."
The report takes the all-steel structure offset cylinder body ultra-high-rise building Guangzhou Business center project as an example, introducing the intelligent construction technology developed by the new construction company in the construction of all-steel super-high-rise project from the aspects of all-steel structure deformation control and monitoring, giant node and conversion system installation, magnetic suction intelligent welding, external self-climbing tower crane design and application.
At the same time,The 3rd China Exhibition for Sustainable & Prefabricated Building Materials and Intelligent Construction was held in Guangzhou. Yang Qingxiu (Deputy Director of the Party Group of Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development of Guangdong Province), Chen Zimin (Deputy Director of Science and Technology Information) and Choi Xiuming (Director of the Village Construction Department) came to visit, Guo Qingsong (Party Secretary of the South China Sub-Bureau of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp.,Ltd) and other leaders accompanied the presentation. During the meeting, nearly 200 units came to the booth of  China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp.,Ltd to visit and exchange with more than 4,000 people.

At the exhibition, the expositor through live commentary, interactive experience, hands-on presentation, video broadcast etc., Focusing on advanced practices in "science and technology innovation, intelligent construction, green construction, prefabricated building". Temporary support system for steel structures with high bearing capacity, special solid technology - steel structure self-climbing operating platform and other new technology, new achievement of green building materials and prefabricated construction & intelligent construction, show the new layout of the prefabricated construction industry that polishes its brand image with the construction technology to annotate the eco-friendly ethos of intelligent construction.
 
"Temporary support system for steel structures with high bearing capacity" consists of upper and lower base and middle lattice structured columns, and a single independent column is connected to form a standard section by crossbar and oblique bar. The standard section has two heights, 1.8 meters high and 3.3 meters high, and the two height standard sections can be combined into different heights for use. This system can solve the problems such as the use, storage, transportation and installation of temporary support components for steel construction to improve construction efficiency and save material resources.
LC-1.5 series of supports is universal support, horizontal projection length of 1.5 meters and its vertical knuckle length is also 1.5 meters which mainly consists of the upper and lower base and middle form column, made of material Q355B. The support base is made of steel. Bolt mounting holes for mounting column top tooling are opened for simultaneous use as top mounts for greater versatility.
"New welding platform for self-climbing along steel columns" uses multiple hoists as a source of boost power, using encoders to synchronize the lift rate of each hoist. Creatively proposed the "lock-type" way of crossing the barrier which refers to the top of the platform on both sides of the steel swing arm beam alternately open so that the steel beam in a similar way to the ship through the gate from the platform.
Self-climbing welding platform can be widely used in various multi-section steel column installation and welding process. It can free tower crane time without affecting the installation of steel beam and improve the construction efficiency of steel structure and ensure construction safety.
