Signed a contract with Fiji!

Date:2024-07-02

Recently, CIMC Modular Building System (hereinafter referred to as "CIMC") successfully signed a contract with Fijian merchants at the 16th China Int'l Integrated Housing Industry & Building Industrialization Expo. This marked that the first order of the "Concrete Module Series" movable houses developed by CIMC was signed with a Pacific island country after its debut at the CIHIE, becoming a microcosm of the "Jiangmen Brand" bravely entering the "Belt and Road" market.

Fiji is the first Pacific island country to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China. China and Fiji have a long historical relationship, and Jiangmen has become a sister city with Lautoka, Fiji. In recent years, the two sides have seized the historic opportunity of jointly building the "Belt and Road" initiative and continuously expanded the space for cooperation under the initiative of the "Blue Pacific 2050 Strategy". Last year, a delegation from the Fijian Parliament visited Jiangmen to promote cooperation with Jiangmen in multiple fields.

"Affected by the local labor shortage and high material prices, the local housing construction in Fiji is slow, and it is difficult to guarantee housing for low-income people." Fijian merchants who participated in the signing said, "CIMC's new products are green and environmentally friendly. They are assembled from multiple boxes and are suitable for different levels of consumer groups. Local residents can flexibly purchase single or multiple houses according to their actual income level, which can alleviate the housing problem to a certain extent."

"This signing will help improve the efficiency of housing construction in Fiji. The product has achieved standardized production in the workshop and can be mass-produced, building houses like cars. After this signing, our products will be continuously exported to Fiji." Zhu Weidong, general manager of CIMC Modular Building System, said, "The products supplied to Fiji will be customized in full accordance with local laws and regulations, geographical environment, and national characteristics."

Cao Dayan, Chairman of Guangdong Construction Engineering Green and Assembly Development Association, believes that CIMC, as a modular building technology company, continues to promote the design, development and practice of green energy-saving buildings, and contributes to housing construction, improvement of human settlements and urban environment in overseas countries. We look forward to CIMC and its partners to jointly provide green, low-carbon, high-quality housing solutions.

It is understood that CIMC products have covered 20 countries and regions overseas, with more than 200 projects delivered. The product provided in this signed project is the "concrete module series" movable house. This product adopts the world's first patented plate connection method, with high production efficiency. The main structure is manufactured with high precision in the factory. The quality is stable and reliable, and it is material-saving and environmentally friendly. It can achieve mass production of "houses" and sell "houses" globally. This product is suitable for buildings below 8 floors, and can be used for prefabricated farmhouses, residences, villas, cultural tourism, hotels, dormitories, schools, camps, rural revitalization, industrial standard factories and other buildings. It is worth mentioning that this product has good seismic performance and is suitable for earthquake-prone countries such as Pacific island countries.

It is reported that the first batch of products will arrive in Fiji in August.
